Client Details

Our client, based near Hertford, are a Multinational construction company.

Description

The key responsibilities for the accountant will include:

  • General ledger and balance sheet management including balance sheet reconciliations

  • Supporting the production of consolidated monthly and quarterly management accounts and reports

  • Assisting with production of year-end statutory accounts and supporting external audit

  • Assisting with cashflow management, monitoring and reporting

  • Preparation of supporting information for tax compliance activities (VAT, CT etc)

  • Supporting implementation and testing of new ERP and reporting systems

  • Ensuring integrity of financial controls

  • Ad hoc projects and data analysis and manipulation as required in support of team objectives

Profile

The successful accountant will be recently ACA qualified with a strong academic background.
