Responsibilities & Qualifications
KPMG is currently seeking an Intern for our Business Process Group - Internal Audit practice.
Responsibilities:
• Support the Internal Audit (IA) team by participating in the execution of financial, operational, IT and compliance audits
• Assist in the performance of audit procedures in accordance with IA policies
• Aid in the preparation of audit working papers in accordance with IA policies
• Assist in the evaluation of business processes and controls, including IT controls
• Participate with IA management in the overall evaluation of results of the audit
Qualifications:
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, information technology, computer science, business management or related field
• Strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills, and ability to navigate MS Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
• Ability to travel and/or work on-site at client premises as needed, at times with relatively short notice
• Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; and resourceful in delivering high quality work
• Targeted graduation dates: Winter interns from Summer 2021 through Summer 2022; and Summer interns from December 2021 through Summer 2022
