Your role

Our client is looking for a Reporting and Project Accountant to join their creative and inclusive company on a 12-month contract.

You will work in an important position directly supporting the CFO and CEO to enable business critical decisions to be made by providing highly accurate and detailed information.

You will be working with the wider business to oversee project manager reporting and appropriate financial documentation. You will use your experience to be consultative in nature to resolve complexities concerning contracts and projects and provide a detailed review of quotations.

In addition, you will produce monthly management reports for review at a senior level, manage the journals and balance sheet reconciliations, as well as work closely with Project Managers to review forecasts and project invoicing.

You will be responsible for producing visually impressive management reports so previous experience of working with SQL or MS Query to pull the relevant information from the PMS is highly desirable.

To be considered for this role you will need to understand how projects work, and the complexities involved in dealing with multiple stakeholders.

You will also need to have a good understanding of finance to provide hands-on support regarding reconciliations, forecasting and other ad hoc finance requirements.

Due to our client having a strong international presence it is essential that you are fluent in Mandarin.

You will also be proactive in nature; capable of taking the initiative and being able to speak with all areas of the business, here and abroad, with a level of confidence.

Your Skills & Experience
  • Degree in Commerce, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • CA / CPA qualified or have embarked on studies
  • Fluency in Mandarin
  • Experience of Project Management
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
  • Experience of BMS or other PMS is highly desirable
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong ability to manage multiple responsibilities
