An SME business on the outskirts of Portsmouth is recruiting an Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis.
This position is within a medium sized manufacturing business with a strong brand. Due to an increase in business demand, we are recruiting an Assistant Accountant as a growth role.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, duties include:-
* Overseeing AP and AR activities
* Preparation of P&L statement and balance sheets on a timely and accurate manner
* Preparation of depreciation, accruals, prepayments, journals and any other relevant adjustment
* Assisting with month end close
* Producing MI reports for stakeholders internally
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:-
* AAT qualified
* Experience producing accounts to trial balance
* Confident working on bespoke ERP systems
