ACCOUNTANT

Origo Reinsurance brokers Limited (Origo Re) is an independent reinsurance intermediary established and registered in Zambia in September, 2019. The company services include reinsurance broking (Facultative and treaty), reinsurance advisory, reinsurance accounting, risk management, actuarial consultancy and reinsurance training.

JOB TITLE                                :           ACCOUNTANT

REPORTING TO                       :           THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Responsibilities

• Staff Training and development
• Design, implement and review internal controls
• Preparation of management reports,
• Preparation of financial statements
• Coordinate and plan external Audits
• Preparation of budgets, oversee implementation and review
• Overall oversight on cash flow management
• Ensure compliance with regulators( PIA)
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements( NAPSA, ZRA, NHIMA)

Qualification

• 5 years’ experience at senior management level
• Experience with accounting package, i.e. Sage, Navision, Accpack
• Full ACCA, ZICA, CIMA or its equivalent
• Fully paid Member of the respective association and ZICA
