ACCOUNTANT - MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY
We are looking for mid-career Accountant to join our growing company within the Manufacturing Industry.
The candidate is required to assist the Management in processing day-to-day financial transactions, bookkeeping, maintaining proper records & documentation and production of periodic financial statement.
The candidate should have experience and knowledge in accounting within the Manufacturing Industry and should have deep understanding in Costing and Cost Analysis.
The candidate is also required to liaise and to be the point of contact with the Banks, Auditors and Other Governmental Bodies. To assist the Finance Department on all financial tasks to ensure smooth running of accounting and finance tasks.

Job Description:
- Documenting, processing and recording day-to-day transactions including bank transactions, cash transactions, and invoicing.
- Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
- Daily and Periodic Journal Entries into the Accounting System.
- Reconciliations of Bank Accounts and relevant Balance Sheet item.
- Preparation and production of periodic Financial Statements including management account, Income Statement, Statement of Financial Position and Cash Flow Statement.
- Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor.
- Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
- Conducts physical inventories.
- Reconciles finished goods inventories.
- Assist in monthly payroll process
- To assist in Year End audit and Zakat calculations.
- Any other related responsibilities assigned and/or assumed by management.
