THE COMPANY:
This business is a global, award winning company with operations across the world, and a head office based on the outskirts of Leeds. The company have been through some significant growth and change in recent times, and as a result they are now looking to appoint an Assistant Management Accountant to work directly under the Financial Controller.
** This is an ideal opportunity for someone in the early stages of their ACCA/CIMA studies with some experience in assisting with management accounts, looking to take on more responsibility, and progress their career within a highly successful and fast growing business***
THE JOB:
The key duties of the role will include:
Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
Preparation of monthly journals, including accruals and prepayments
Assisting with the balance sheet reconciliations.
Daily bank reconciliations
Assisting the purchase ledger function.
Management of the aged debtors including cash flow.
THE PERSON:
The successful candidate will:
Be currently studying towards ACCA/CIMA - Essential
Have a minimum of 12 months experience in a relevant finance role - Essential
Have a good knowledge of MS Excel - Essential
Have excellent communication skills - Essential
