Position Summary
The University of New Mexico's Project ECHO has an exciting opportunity for you to become part of our Replication Operations Team, as a Business Analyst! If you enjoy working in a fast paced environment, with an organization that is making a change across the world, this is a great opportunity for you! You will report to the Sr. Operations Manager and support operational decision-making through policy research, data analysis and general decision support.
As a successful, Business Analyst you will work across multiple teams and internal stakeholders to promote, manage and guide the development and improvements of business processes and tools, such as dashboards, that will carry features to support our grant initiatives and resource management. You will play a critical role in:
• Consulting across Project ECHO departments to identify business needs and opportunities for improvement with regards to data reporting and decision support
• Serving as a liaison with different departmental stakeholders such as, the finance team, the grants team, and project managers, in order to understand and evaluate the structure operations of each department and to provide recommendations
• Evaluating data gathered from multiple internal and external sources, reconciling conflicts, performing summary statistics and generating routine reports to support key data-drive process improvements, operational quality assurance and control, and business planning
• Breaking down complex problems into steps that will drive product development and also analyze data and creating reports for leadership
• Consulting and collaborating closely with internal and external subject matter experts, technical experts, end users and other stakeholders to gather input and feedback on functions, features, and requirements to optimize adoption of new processes, metrics and tools to advance business plans
• Performing investigative work to determine business requirements by interviewing stakeholders and consulting with subject matter experts to develop dashboards to track operations
• Consulting with end users to clarify features and their interoperablility of dash boards, and ensure that stakeholders have access to resources that support their areas of operations
• Developing and managing system-wide data quality assurance and improvement processes
• Documenting and creating reports, flowcharts, and graphs and design a solution for synthesizing data for the operations teams to ensure their goals are met, and to detect any problems
• Overseeing and developing a plan for communication for change management to the end users
• Training and ensuring stakeholders have access to resources that support their transition to new solutions
• Providing outcomes analysis and reporting in support of Project ECHO Leadership's strategic business decisions
Project ECHO is a tele-mentoring and distance-learning program with partners all over the world. Work hours outside of normal business hours may be required. We are fortunate to have access to advanced technology, which will require some teleworking.

Conditions of Employment
Minimum Qualifications
Successful completion of at least 60 college-level credit hours; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years' experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• At least 3 years independently managing medium- to high-complexity projects using standard project management methods, tools and templates.
• Experience using a project planning software tool such as Microsoft Projects, SmartSheets, Confluence, Teamwork, etc.
• Experience with data collection, analysis and reporting using Excel and business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• Experience working in healthcare and/or service environment.
• Excellent flexibility and prioritization skills: ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment with competing deadlines
