FINANCE | Corporate Treasury

We're a team of specialists charged with managing the firm's funding, liquidity, capital and relationships with creditors and regulators. Corporate Treasury manages the firm's financial resources and minimizes interest expense through liability planning, asset liability management, and liquidity portfolio yield enhancement. The division is ideal for collaborative individuals who have strong quantitative analysis skills and risk management capabilities since Treasury actively manages the firm's financial resources which are constantly changing due to business activity, markets, risk appetite, regulations and other factors.

Corporate Treasury/ Data Governance Manager / VP

What we do:

Corporate Treasury plays a central role in the firm's overall strategy with responsibility for providing appropriate funding to support all firmwide activity while maximizing net interest income. The division allocates financial resources, raises funding and capital to support firm activity, and dynamically manages the firm's asset liability risk and liquidity portfolio. Corporate Treasury actively engages in public markets and with businesses across the firm, investors, ratings agencies and regulators. The division is ideal for collaborative individuals with strong quantitative analysis skills, interest in portfolio management and a risk management mind set.

How we're organized:

Corporate Treasury is responsible for financial resource management and asset liability management to facilitate all firm activity at the lowest cost possible. Functional teams within Corporate Treasury focus on resource allocation, funding planning and origination, asset liability management, trading execution, liquidity projections, liquidity policies and platforms, regulatory engagement, and LIBOR transition. The division is run by the Global Treasurer and works closely with the CFO, each of the firm's businesses, Controllers, Operations, and Investor Relations among other groups at the firm

More About this Job

The Data Office will drive the division's data-centric approach to increase efficiency, reduce manual processing, create consistency for data usage and improve decision making. They own the division's data framework, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and play a central role in all data initiatives.

Job Responsibilities
  • Drive projects for strategic data acquisition. Identify and implement plans to close data gaps to meet funding & liquidity management needs and business strategy
  • Realize value from data analytics and drive a data driven culture
  • Track, understand and measure data and data quality to unlock efficiencies and value for the division
  • Ensure all data used to drive liquidity decisions is well cataloged, understood and owned.
  • Evolve, maintain and enforce the data governance framework and program
  • Work with the central Data Governance Office to establish and implement data contracts
  • Work with senior stakeholders to create data risk policy, thresholds, and controls for the division
  • Participate in and lead divisional efforts for firmwide programs to uplift current data risk framework
  • Make connections between data and analytics initiatives and business objectives to drive the departments data strategy
  • Build strong relationships across the firm o drive & implement the firm's and divisions' data vision
  • Keep abreast with industry trends and competitors to identify and respond to new opportunities; become a go-to expert in the data space.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, hard sciences, financial engineering or finance.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, interpersonal and organizational skills. Team oriented.
