Job Role and Responsibility
The Partner Data Services team is looking for a detail-oriented and analytically driven individual. The Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting with Partners Channel and Sales Operations Teams, Partner Sellers and Internal Business Partner teams. The position requires interaction with US and India-based teams so the Business Analyst must be a self-starter with strong leadership and analytical skills and should be comfortable working with distributed teams without direct management oversight. The Partner Data Services team is looking for a detail-oriented and analytically driven individual. The Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting with Partners Channel and Sales Operations Teams, Partner Sellers and Internal Business Partner teams. The position requires interaction with US and India-based teams so the Business Analyst must be a self-starter with strong leadership and analytical skills and should be comfortable working with distributed teams without direct management oversight. Responsibilities include:
- Build and automate dashboards and reports using Tableau
- Provide overall Business Intelligence & Reporting support to the Partner Organization
- Collaborate with the Partner Operations organization to define KPIs & automate dashboards/reports for the field
- Perform data analysis to determine root cause of data issues
- Engage in project activity for implementing new BI business capabilities
- Assists in implementing effective business analytics practices that drive improved decision making, efficiency and performance
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree is must. Area of study in business, computer science, or a related field is desired.
- 5-7 years of experience in Analytics and Business Intelligence
- 3-5+ years of hands on experience in in designing and building complete ETL/SSIS packages.
- Experience on various data sources like (Excel, Flat File, CSV, XML, SQL server, Access DB etc.).
- Strong knowledge on writing SQL queries.
- Should have extensive knowledge on SSIS deployment process.
- Translate requirements from the business and analyst into technical code
- Strong attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Business analytical experience within a highly dynamic corporate environment with IT, Sales, Finance & Operations organizations
- Possesses strong oral and written communication skills to clearly communicate complex and/or technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in an onshore - offshore model with teams from different time zones and cultures.
- Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility
- A self-starter, able to manage multiple tasks at once and the ability to work with minimal direction
- Must be highly motivated and flexible in order to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of data warehouse concepts star schema, facts and dimensions.
- Good to have data visualization knowledge using SSRS or Tableau is Plus.
- Good to have knowledge on scripting
- Knowledge of SAP Bobj and/or Salesforce is a plus.
- Understanding of Channel & Marketing programs
