In partnership with the Australian Defence Force we are seeking an experienced Estate Data Business Analysts to prepare and process Estate Asset information for the purpose of supporting operational Asset planning activities. This role will work alongside the Estate Data Analysts and will provide technical support to the team and client.

This is a permanent full-time position, based in Melbourne.

The key areas of accountability for this role are: Data Management, Data Integrity & Data Analysis, which also involves;
  • Understandand translate data from various data sources
  • Devise and project manage Updates and Continuous improvement to Estate Data
  • Provide large data extractions in formats requested.
  • ProvideEstate Data Metrics on compliance and Assurance of Asset records.
  • Provide intelligent insights and advising on how to improve performance of SQL and BI reporting
  • Buildand maintain Team dashboards to enable daily workflow decisions to be made using real time data
  • Train and coach team members on the efficient use of our system and processes include the roll out of continuous improvement initiatives


To be successful in this role, you will need to be an Efficient problem solver that can work effectively with a high degree of professional autonomy as well as in a team;
  • 4 years minimum in Power BI (including proficiency with DAX queries)
  • Possess relevant qualifications in Data Science/Data analytics or Engineering is desirable
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the principles and practices of reporting and data analysis
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer relationship skills
  • Advanced skills in the use of reporting and database enquiry tools (SQL, EXCEL, Power BI)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (use of macro's, pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUPs VBA)
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake requirements gathering activities to deliver effective and optimised reporting and analytics services

You must be an Australian Citizen & be able to obtain a ADF Clearance.
