Your new role
The Risk and Assurance Officer role supports and assists the Business Improvement Coordinator to achieve the organisational risk management objectives and requirements of the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
The ability to:
- Develop and maintain the Risk Management Framework in order to support the organisation and enable them to recognise and manage risk in a proactive and enduring manner.
- Provide high quality, contemporary advice, accurate information, and timely and practical support and services in relation to claims management and insurance that enhance risk and good governance.
- Develop and maintain the fraud and corruption prevention strategies
- Manage business continuity planning requirements
- Coordinate external risk management audits
- Coordinate internal audit services and provide secretarial service to the audit Committee
- Assist the Manager Finance with the preparation of the non-financial indicators
- Implement and further develop policies and procedures that support and enhance good governance and management of staff, volunteers and committees.
Prior experience in similar roles a must.
