About the opportunity

As a Trainee, you'll receive the unique opportunity to gain invaluable work experience while completing your degree at the same time. Gaining practical experience within our business, you'll put what you're learning at uni into genuine practice.

During the program you'll work full-time and study part-time for 2 years, before returning to uni full-time to finish your degree. When you're finished, you may be offered a full-time graduate position with us.

Using your skills in accounting and finance, in Assurance you'll help build trust in the Australian capital markets system. The work you do will positively impact the lives of everyday Australians, such as ensuring Australian national budgets are being spent wisely. Skills such as project management, business acumen, tech savvy, your ability to respond to change proactively, navigating complexity and developing strong business relationships will be key, as you'll work on a diverse range of clients and industries, utilising technology innovatively to improve outcomes and deliver an unparalleled client experience. Being a part of our Assurance team means to ask questions, test assumptions and support our clients to accurately report information that investors and others can rely on. Each project is an exciting opportunity to learn, grow and better understand how businesses operate, taking a holistic approach as you assess risk to help businesses succeed. You'll work across Asset Management, Real Estate, Banking & Insurance, Healthcare, Retail & Consumer, Pharmaceuticals, Construction, Transport & Logistics.

Internal Audit (Risk Assurance)
Using your skills in accounting and finance and your ability to gather and analyse meaningful, holistic information, as part of the Internal Audit team within Risk Assurance, you'll help evaluate how effective our clients are at governance and managing risks in relation with their organisational goals. With your conceptual and analytical thinking, you'll help strengthen their governance and risk management frameworks, as well as control processes to identify growth opportunities for our clients.

  • You're on track to complete your degree in 2022
  • You are an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident.
