Robert Half are working with a company in the Health Industry who are seeking a Payroll Officer for an ongoing temporary assignment. Working in a finance team of 4, and on a full-time basis, this is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy, collaborative team.
The Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:
Your Profile
To be successful, you will be an experienced and competent payroll officer who is able to work autonomously and take ownership of the end to end payroll function.
Excellent communication, and the ability to work to deadlines is also required.
You will have experience processing high-volume payroll, in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to hit the ground running and be able to pick up systems and procedures with ease.
You will have experience with systems such as Chris21 and ADP.

The Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Process weekly payroll for 500+ employees
- End to end processing of payroll (payments through to reconciliation)
- Calculation of payroll tax, superannuation and leave entitlements for employees
- Maintenance of employee records in relation to payroll related matters
- Resolution of payroll discrepancies
