The Role
Reporting into the Financial Controller, the day to day duties of the Senior Financial Accountant will include:
Your Profile
You will be an CPA/CA qualified Accounting professional with similar experience in a hands-on Financial Accounting focused role. You will ideally be coming from a small team environment where you have had previous oversight of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions and prior team leader/management experience of junior staff.
You will be an excellent communicator with a can-do attitude and able to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders of varying levels. Previous experience within the healthcare sector would be beneficial, however not essential for this role.

- Timely and accurate production of month end accounts
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- ATO reporting, BAS, Payroll Tax and FBT reconciliations and payments
- Preparation of year-end statutory financial statements
- Overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Assist with completion of board reports
- Backup for payroll processing
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and assist with system implementation
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders daily
