Cobalt have partnered with a leading Pan-European Fund Manager who, over the past decade, have expanded rapidly within private equity funds.
After a successful round of fund raising they are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join the Finance team on a newly launched fund. This role would suit someone who is seeking an in-house fund opportunity working in an exciting and fast paced environment.

Key responsibilities include;
- Preparation of investor drawdown notices as well as monthly and quarterly investor reports.
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns on a quarterly basis.
- Preparing year-end audit files and liaising with auditors regarding any queries.
- Undergoing weekly payment runs, bank reconciliations and posting of invoices.
- Working across multiple funds assisting with the preparation of Management Accounts.
- Other ad-hoc tasks as and when required.
Key requirements;
- Part Qualified and studying towards ACA, ACCA or CIMA..
- Strong academic background with minimum 2:1 and ABB at A-level.
- Strong inter-personal skills with a keen willingness to develop your skill set.
- Prior experience working within private equity or real estate would be advantageous.
