We have a sensational opportunity available for a technically strong accountant to join a Finance arm of a unique, industry leading operation which is at an extremely exciting time in their business growth.
This is a group role, comprising of a good balance between financial reporting, 'FP&A' and business partnering across differing operations. This role would suit someone who is technically competent who has completed their ACA or ACCA and who specifically has practical experience of preparing Statutory Accounts and is now looking for that stimulating opportunity within industry.

The main responsibilities of the role will include:
- Preparation of monthly accounts, analyse and review any overseas entity and perform high level monthly consolidation of the group accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Compile monthly analysis to increase visibility into the key drivers behind gross margin, operations and other key areas of the business
- Lead year end process and statutory audit whilst lending audit support as required to local finance teams.
- Prepare year end reporting packs from group consolidation and audit under IFRS
- Assume ownership of inter-company relations including trading and balance reconciliations
- Drive the production of quality reporting and analysis as required to optimise all functions across the business
- Develop a positive working relationship with the FC supporting in key areas such as: Annual budgeting, rolling forecasting processes, cash flow modelling and cash management
- At times, report into Board level and to work alongside them to optimise IT systems
Alongside the practical Statutory Accounts prep we are looking for, we are also looking for the following levels of experience and qualifications:
- ACA / ACCA qualified with some previous Practice experience
- An understanding of all areas of UK Taxation
- A high level of attention to detail
- A drive to produce high quality work with an extreme degree of accuracy and efficiency
- Hold a desire to drive continuous improvement in all areas, optimising technology where possible to improve processes
- The ability to cultivate relationships across the business
- Experience of working with a multi currency business
