An investment manager with exposure to both the private and public markets in the tech space is looking to add a fund controller/junior CFO to their London office, located in Mayfair. This person will be expected to take on the CFO designation in due course. This firm which currently manages around $3bn has done exceptionally well since its inception and has seen annual performance levels consistently in double digit territory.

You will need to be a qualified accountant and have worked in a reputable investment manager and had exposure to fund accounting, valuations and ideally corporate/financial accounting. The remit on offer is a broad one and beyond providing oversight over an extensive network of external service provider you will also be carrying out the valuations for private equity investments and also be heavily involved in the strategic development of the business.

Qualifications / Skills Requirements:
  • Must have a minimum of a 2:1 from a Redbrick University. Strong Academics are an absolute must.
  • Qualified accountant
  • Relevant experience working in a finance/operations role at a leading private equity house / hedge fund / asset manager.
  • Analytical and inquisitive mind-set, with a rigorous attention to detail
  • A dynamic person with a professional outlook is a must
