THE ROTHERHAM NHS FOUNDATION TRUSTFINANCE SYSTEM MANAGER & BUSINESS ANALYSTAGENDA FOR CHANGE BAND 8A£45,753 - £51,668The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust (TRFT) is an integrated acute and community services provider organisation with a turnover in 2019/20 approaching £290M. The Finance Directorate encompasses traditional financial services and financial management functions, together with procurement and commissioner contracting. Strong financial monitoring, control and governance are essential with processes under-pinned by a bespoke integrated finance and procurement system (Unit 4 Business World - commonly known as Agresso) which has been substantially maintained and developed in house over the last 15+ years. The system is shared with our neighbouring trust, Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and is managed on behalf of both organisations by only 2 full-time Finance System Manager & Business Analyst roles. Due to the impending retirement of one of these post holders a vacancy will be arising and both trusts are keen to recruit to this business critical role promptly. Both these posts are employed and managed by TRFT on behalf of both organisations and report directly to the Head of Financial Services whilst being professionally accountable to the Deputy Director of Finance. Operationally, these posts are accountable to both trusts, through a shared service level agreement underpinned by agreed management arrangements that determine workload and priorities.Maintaining and developing the system is key to streamlining business processes and procedures together with financial and business reporting capabilities at all levels within organisation and supporting external requirements, both statutory and otherwise. Both trusts are keen to maintain system functionality commensurate with the latest software updates whilst also seeking to further enhance and develop the system as part of a joint agenda for continual improvement.
