Due to the aggressive developing of the business as well as the increased in revenue of their business, they are looking for a Group CFO to partner in bringing their business to a higher level. Description
• Review group financial statements, group consolidation & quarterly announcement to ensure they are prepared
accurately and in compliance with statutory listing requirements, Bursa, FRS/MFRS & any other statutory bodies
• In charge of company financial plans and cashflows budget planning
• Review financial budget & forecast prepared by both finance team and operation team.
• Provide guidance on company's quarterly and yearly business plans
• Overseeing project feasibility studies by the operation team, project costing variance & budget variance monitor
by the finance team
• Duties on reporting of company financial and operational performance to Audit Committee, Board Risk
Management Committee and Board of Directors
• Lead on overseeing effective risk management ("ERM") processes and review issues in Risk Management
Committee ("RMC") presented by HODs
• Recommend improvement of internal control processes and procedures. (set up of finance SOPs, finance team
reporting structure reform)
• Overseeing internal audit function of the group with outsource internal auditor
• Overseeing company tax planning and GST/SST implementation and reporting by finance team
• Working closely with auditors, board of directors, tax agent, company secretary and tax authority
Profile
The ideal Group CFO will be confident in leading the department and be responsible for the growth of the company and must posses the below requirements;
• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Qualification (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/MICPA)
• At least 20-25 years of relevant working experience
• Computer literate with proficiency in MS Excel and SAP are added advantage
• Ability to work in a fast paced and aggressive environment
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and tight deadlines
