Job Title: CAS Business Analyst
Location: 900 Ridgebury Road, Ridgefield CT 06877
Duties: Translate business requirements into system functionality and determine efficient and effective ways to implement the process into applications by balancing system capabilities and worldwide compliance aspects and business needs. Serve as a facilitator between the business processes and clinical applications. Map processes to system functionality and determine how to best implement the process by balancing system capabilities and worldwide compliance aspects and business needs. Lead the process modeling and user requirements engineering for effective and efficient global processes in collaboration with the customer. Organize, perform and maintain the knowledge transfer to the external international support vendor. Determine the impact of process changes and provide expert input to develop worldwide training programs in cooperation with the external international training vendor. Supervise the support activities that are performed by external international validation and support vendors.
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (8:00am to 5:00pm)
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related role, OR no degree and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related role. Must have two (2) years of experience with: applying Global Clinical Application Principles to user requirements and support system development; clinical management, data or reporting applications; performing requirements gathering and analysis; Relational Database Design fundamentals; Clinical Data Management and related application (Medidata RAVE); Medidata RAVE metadata structure and relationships; data visualization tool sets for clinical data use cases; Computer Systems Validation for GCP compliance; utilizing Project Management Tools such as Microsoft Project; Software Development Life Cycle; and Software Quality Assurance processes including Reviews, Testing and Issue Analysis. Must have one (1) year of experience managing projects involved in process implementation. Position requires travel 10% of the time.
