Currently they are looking for an experienced Accountant to join their Launceston team in a permanent position.
Your new role
This Accountant role will see you operate as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert financial analysis and advice plus the timely preparation of Financial Statements, Business Activity Statements and Taxation returns. Working with a variety of clients you will provide support across Taxation, Compliance and Business Accounting, plus be involved with the supervision and coaching of junior members of staff to ensure their continued development.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a degree qualified Accountant, ideally with between 2 to 5 years' experience working in Australian Public Practice Accounting. With a passion for professional development, you will have the skills and approach to develop strong relationships with your work colleagues and clients and the ability to utilise your business acumen, problem solving and communication skills to provide an exceptionally high level of service. Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills, you will be able to manage a number of concurrent projects and work effectively to critical deadlines.
