Leading Melbourne business is seeking a qualified Finance Manager for an initial 6 month contract. The role has been created due to business expansion and will suit a candidate who has been responsible for the full finance function of a hotel business.

Your new role
This is a new role created to manage the finance function of a newly acquired hotel business. Reporting to the Director, your key duties will include:
  • Management of the general ledger
  • Monthly/Quarterly reporting
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Financial statements preparation
  • Taxation including FBT, GST and BAS
  • Payroll for a small team

What you'll need to succeed
  • Ideally CA/CPA qualified
  • Previous experience n the hotel industry
  • Experience designing and implementing procedures for a finance function
  • Previous staff management experience desirable
  • Self starter able to work autonomously
