EY KSA Young Tax Professional Woman of the Year

Are you a Saudi female student who wants to see the business world in global terms? Do you want to learn to work with people from around the world and learn how business is done in different cultures? All of this while learning new skills that are expected of tomorrow's leaders?
This is what the Young Tax Professional Woman of the Year competition is all about.

The Global Young Tax Professional of the Year (YTPY) competition gives students a special opportunity to showcase a range of tax, legal and general business knowledge as well as analytical and presentation skills in a multi-step, case-study challenge. The first step is the Saudi Arabia (KSA) competition. The KSA winner advances to the global level, where she networks and competes with other high performers from more than 20 countries around the world. The KSA and Global competitions are virtual, and we have made a special effort to ensure the networking, teaming and learning experiences will all be exciting and memorable events.

We’re seeking smart, motivated, forward-thinking tax and accounting students to apply! Build your brand and exercise your knowledge and skills all in one prestigious competition.

Stage 1: Application

To be considered for this opportunity, you must submit a formal application. Respond to all questions. Remember, there is no right or wrong answer!

If your application is meeting our eligibility criteria, you will be receiving an aptitude assessment to complete. Make sure to approach the assessment the same way you would approach any new challenge! You will be given 18 mins to complete the assessment, please ensure to carefully read the instructions before attempting each exam. Eligibility criteria:
  • Saudi female nationals.
  • Undergraduate degree: completed in 2019 or graduating before December 2020
  • Degree: Accounting
Stage 2: Explore Tax (virtual call)

After reviewing your application, an EY Campus Recruitment Consultant will reach out to you and invite you to attend a virtual meeting to get the opportunity to experience:
  • An insight into EY and, more specifically, Tax
  • Learn more about the EY KSA Young Tax Professional of the Year
Stage 3: Saudi Arabia YTPY country competition

Finalists will be invited to virtually attend the country competition (one day event in October 2020). The competition will test verbal presentation and teaming skills and provide an opportunity to meet and network with EY tax practice and marketplace leaders.  

The country winner will receive a COOP/internship opportunity in EY KSA office and wins a place in the global final. Other finalists will be running a high chance of joining EY KSA offices for a COOP/Internship Program.

The EY Team will support and coach you to ensure you are prepared for the Country Competition.

Stage 4: Global YTPY final competition

Taking place virtually from November - December 2020, successful country finalists will compete against students from around the world over a period of three weeks. Finalists will be challenged with case studies, oral presentations and interviews with experienced judges from business and academia. The finalists will be invited to a prestigious awards ceremony where — after a final review of performance throughout the competition — the three winners of the Global Young Tax Professional of the Year will be announced.
