As a specialist Tax Manager in our Reasearch & Development tax team, you will have a corporate tax background, coupled with significant provable experience in delivering R&D tax relief claims for clients. On a day to day basis you will prepare R&D reports for submission to HMRC and deliver R&D tax client services to a high standard.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a collaborative approach and be able to demonstrate an awareness of technical risk through well supported research. You will be aiming to increase your client base through an organised approach to business development e.g. networking, client recommendation requests, and developing a referrer base.

In order to enhance your own personal development, you will have the opportunity to lead, manage, motivate and coach other members of the team so supervisory experience would be desirable. You will be working with a great team of like-minded colleagues all focused on supporting each other to perform at their best. You will therefore be confident in delivering technical advice and support to colleagues in relation to innovation incentives and tax planning for innovative companies.

In terms of qualifications, we want to ensure we are offering the best service to our customers so possessing a tax qualification such as CTA or a qualification with similar standing, such as ACA, would be a distinct advantage.
