DESCRIPTION
Our customer exposes an API for other businesses to be able to access risks associated with a person, e.g. understand their credit score. Behind the scene there is sophisticated decisioning system and large data volumes. Currently back-end of this API has number of legacy versions, serving hundreds of clients, with individual installations for most clients.

We are looking for a mature Systems/Business Analyst who will acquire and evolve hands-on project-specific analytical approach. With this knowledge, he/she should ramp up, run and supervise offshore project analytical competency.

The project is to discover and migrate data & business rules from IBM mainframe to Google Cloud Platform. This is crucial for the market-leading US national credit reporting agency.
Responsibilities
  • Design data-driven case analysis of legacy software based on info from customer SMEs
  • Be able to transform low-level pseudo code to human-readable business rules
  • Ramp-up and maintain offshore systems analysts' competency
  • Coordinate analysts' effort in:
    • managing relevant workload
    • keeping the necessary and consistent level of detail
    • maintaining traceability between input/output artifacts
    • enriching and maintaining competency knowledgebase
    • adhering to strict security standards of the Customer
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience of business analysis in software development projects
  • Experience in Computer Science or other technical background
  • Proven experience of Systems/Business analyst on a big legacy system
  • Domain knowledge of US Consumer Credit Reports
  • Strong knowledge of Atlassian Confluence and Jira
  • Good understanding of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe frameworks
  • Experience of creating documentation from scratch
  • Team building and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience of working as a technical mentor
  • Understanding of SDLC
  • Experience in relational databases querying
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with internal and external customers
  • Ability to be detail oriented, organized, with the ability to multi-task
  • Upper-Intermediate or higher English level, both spoken and written (B2+)
Nice to have
  • Domain knowledge of Finance Fraud detection
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform concepts
  • Big Data querying
  • Python coding
