Your new role
Reporting into the CFO, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Accounts Payable - full function
- Ensure the timely processing and payment of invoices
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies identified in supplier invoices
- Maintenance of creditor records and files
- Assist with reconciliations of bank statements, supplier statements and accounts
- Support the finance team with EOM reporting
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will have 3-5 years experience in a full function accounts payable role with experience within a blue collar environment. In addition:
- Previous experience in a similar role under Australian regulatory conditions
- Strong working knowledge of MYOB AccountRight (In lieu of AccountRight, versions of MYOB will suffice)
- Competent with intermediate Excel (skills testing required for v-look up and pivot tables)
- Comfortable in a small business, family oriented environment
- Strong sense of business etiquette with clear communication - written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to work as a part of a team and autonomously, have keen problem solving skills and are a self starter
- Deadline driven, high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Adaptable, collaborative nature
