Description

Your leadership will contribute to strategically shape the Branch in providing exceptional service delivery and through the development of new or enhanced innovative capabilities that meets ASIS objectives and strategic priorities.

Your strong relationship management, business analysis, business architecture and/or change experience will ensure stakeholders are afforded excellent service across the technology projects and change management cycles including post-implementation.

Your ability to be flexible, adaptable, strategic and client focused will be an advantage in responding to this position.
Please note: The business relationship management positions may be used to fill other future positions that becomes available in other corporate areas.

Business Relationship Manager and Officer (including Change and Release) - Level 5 to EL1:
• Manage and lead a team (as required).
• Pursue and maintain effective relationships with other sections, branches and external agencies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Apply or contribute to strategic management of all technology initiatives.

Business Analyst and Business Architect - Level 6 to EL1:
• Manage and lead a team (as required).
• Business analysis skills and experience in software development lifecycle, project management and agile frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Experience in the facilitation of business and technical teams during planning, design activities.
• Capability development planning efforts include analysing strategic needs of the organisation, defining business requirements and producing capability documentation to ensure the organisation is funded, capability is planned and delivery projects are set up for success.
• Excellent understanding and demonstrated application of current architectural design patterns, standards, technologies and techniques.
• Presentation, verbal communication, workshop facilitation and writing skills.
• Drives and facilitates the right discussions with business leaders to identify business capabilities in relation to current and future business objectives.
• Apply or contribute to strategic management of technology initiatives.
