The Role
A commercial opportunity exists for a management accountant / system analyst to be the link between sites and Head Office. The positionrequire someone who is happy to work under their own steam, able to liaise between operations and finance, and be able to drive and understand key business issues and levers, to convey financial information in a user-friendly way and deliver key financial information.
The role offers a good range of commercial decision making, high level responsibilities, and high profile where you can really make a difference on divisional profitability. You will provide general support to the operational managers in terms of budgeting and forecasting and understanding of costs, and be responsible for understanding the overall divisions month end reporting and analysis. You will play a pro-active role in understanding key customer profitability, margins, and high level of support to the operational team.
The Candidate
A good understanding of excel, would be welcome, as would be a CPA/ CA qualification. You will be able to liaise across all levels of departments, drive financial performance, and be seen as the ' go-to' person within this team.
