As a team member of IFRS reporting team, to assist in the expense management and to execute the User Acceptance Test (UAT) to ensure accounting and reporting is in accordance to the requirements of IFRS.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the assigned reports to be submitted to Group Finance
  • Ensure financial accounting (i.e. expenses and inter-company transactions) are properly and accurately complied with IFRS requirement
  • Report notes and schedules and balance sheet reconciliation under IFRS basis are properly prepared and complied with Group requirement
  • Understand the overall workflow and process for the assigned tasks and well plan the reporting schedule to ensure on time delivery
  • Provide analytical support to management

Support on system UAT projects
  • Provide user requirement on system development/ enhancement to ensure accounting and reporting of new products, campaigns and initiatives is in accordance to IFRS requirements
  • Participate in weekly Product Implementation Taskforce (PIT) and Pre-Product Implementation Task-force (Pre - PIT) meetings
  • Work closely with other departments to develop UAT plan and schedule and drive related testing activities while identifying all potential risks and issues
  • Produce detailed test plan on finance related testing and execute UAT to scheduled delivery
  • Communicate the impact on accounting and reporting of new products, campaigns and initiatives with other Finance teams
  • Support supervisor and management on ad-hoc tasks

You are required to obtain relevant licenses if your job involves in regulated activities

Minimum Job Requirements:
  • University graduate and a member of recognized professional accounting body plus 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Sound insurance accounting knowledge and UAT experience is a plus
  • Knowledge in up-to-date accounting standards
  • Experience in mass data analytics
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with creativity
  • Proficient in Excel functions
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
