Reponsibilities include:
Manage the Group Finance control team in Hong Kong (3-4 people)
· Lead the monthly consolidated financial statement preparation process
· Ensure the quality and accuracy of the Group's reporting; both in terms of accuracy of numbers as well as timeliness of reporting
· Lead intercompany transaction reporting and identifying ways to enhance efficiency for intercompany reconciliations
· Produce reports and other analysis breakdown using Hyperion Financial System
· Involvement in the roll out of our new ERP system
· Familiarity with all the relevant accountant standards
· Ensure the newly developed Intangible Asset Policy is being followed with all the major IT projects that are currently underway and, in the pipeline,
· Proactively manage and continuously improve the overall quality of the Group's financial reporting and internal control environment.
· Give instructions and provide guidance to Finance team across the world in accounting policies and technical accounting as required
· Coordinate and liaise with external auditor & monitoring the external audit process
· Supporting the Executive Director, Group Finance in developing the world-wide finance function in financial controls, processes & reporting
· Review all existing Finance policies to ensure they are up-to-date and relevant plus assist to create new policies where required
· Assist the CFO, Audit & Risk Committee and EXCO with ad-hoc projects
The ideal candidate will have over 12 years experience, 4 of those years in a group consolidation role as a qualified accountant, with a background working for top tier global firms. Have strong analytical skills and experience with SAP and Hyperion.
