Our Home Ownership team currently have a vacancy for a Head of Mortgage Credit.

This senior credit risk leadership position within the Home Ownership team provides ownership of functions directly related to managing the credit risk of NAB's Mortgage portfolio.

The role has a significant focus on the development and management of the channel based stakeholder relationships, in addition to key relationships within respective business areas of the Personal Banking & Home Ownership teams at NAB.

As Head of Mortgage Credit you will be responsible for the portfolio management, credit risk settings, models and policies to drive strategies for the approval and management of Mortgage lending and ensure compliance to regulations and risk appetite.

The role spans all Mortgages origination channels, including Retail, Broker, Advantedge and Business Bank.

Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will come from a credit risk management background with extensive experience of a consumer/retail portfolio using automated tools (experience within a collections and scoring environment will also be also be advantageous). You will have a strong understanding of the P&L and measurement on a Risk/return basis. Knowledge of Credit Policy, Basel models / Capital management, Regulatory support and influence (APRA) will ensure your success in this role. As well as this, you will have strong leadership, change management and stakeholder management skills as well as the ability to impact on the delivery of initiatives through the influencing of others.
