Our client is a leading FTSE 20 Consumer Goods business with some of the best loved brands globally.

This role is currently home based but will transition back into their Global HQ in the future, likely to be a mix of home and office based working.

Salary: £70-90k + cash car allowance and 20% bonus (+ an override)

Job Title: Senior Finance Manager

The is a high profile, global role and will be a key part of a growing team where lots of ownership is given and an excellent opportunity to develop as our client's business evolves quickly.

  • Helping to drive the accounting of significant corporate transactions, including acquisitions, creation of joint ventures and disposals.
  • Own the accounting of share options and the bi-annual Group going concern analysis.
  • Work on special projects when they arise as directed by the Finance Director - Corporate Accounting.
  • Review and revise key finance policies as the group moves towards a more efficient operating model.
  • Develop accounting policies and procedures in line with evolving business requirements of the Group.
  • Help advise management on the commercial impact of new policies and accounting requirements.
  • Build strong relationships across wide geographies in order to effectively support operational finance teams and ensure consistency in the interpretation and application of accounting treatments and finance policies.
  • Ensure the group is compliant with all current accounting standards (IFRS), listing rules (UK LSE) and all other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Review proposed and ongoing developments in all current accounting standards (IFRS), listing rules (UK LSE) and all other relevant regulatory requirements to ensure the group is prepared for the adoption of new standards / requirements.
  • Work with the external auditors to ensure policies and treatments are appropriate and acceptable.
  • Liaise effectively with the external auditors, together with key internal stakeholders, in order to ensure the year-end audit runs smoothly and efficiently.


  • Must be ACA Qualfied with 1st Time Passes
  • Must be a graduate from a reputable university
  • Either currently working in a practice firm (as an auditor) at a minimum of manager level or originally from a practice firm and now working in a large, global matrix organisation in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of IFRS essential
  • Strong communicator essential
