Senior Manager, Information Assurance Third Party Management

The Information Assurance Third Party Management (IA TPM) program defines the framework for Third Party Oversight and Risk Management protecting Capital One's information and confirming the third party's ability to provide continual services. This role will help implement, execute, and manage a governance framework with a strong focus on process management and program maturity. We are seeking a forward leaning, self starter who is ready to spearhead important workstreams and help transform the way we approach governance and process management with the goal of driving innovation to improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the IA TPM program.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and drive an ambitious agenda to ensure we are governing IA TPM in a well-managed way
  • Developing a maturity model to effectively gauge program effectiveness
  • Developing a governance framework that is focused on continuous program manurity
  • Strengthening partnerships with stakeholders, Cyber RM, and Internal Audit
  • Establishing a governance model for IA TPM program requirements
  • Establishing a communications program for internal and external stakeholders and suppliers
  • Establishing guidelines, best practices, and requirements across the program
  • Establishing a centralized metrics and reporting capability


Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 7 years of experience with Risk Management
  • At least 2 years of experience with Process Management
  • At least 2 years of experience in Relationship Management
  • At least 2 year of experience with Agile Methodologies


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 5 years of experience with Business Process Management (BPM), Six Sigma, or Lean process improvement techniques
  • At least 5 year of experience with third party risk management
  • Experience developing strategic frameworks and establishing guidelines for best practices
  • Basic understanding of governing frameworks such as PCI DSS, NIST, or ISO
