We currently have an opportunity for an Accounting Assistant:

Qualifications:

• Education Required: High School Diploma
• College Diploma in Accounting or Business Administration would be considered an asset
• 1-2 years of experience in finance, concentration in AP/AR
• Adagio / E1 experience would be considered an asset
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to multitask
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Superior organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize work assignments in a fast-paced environment
• Actively participate in a team environment
• Adaptability & willingness to learn

Key Responsibilities:

• AR/AP Functions
• Journal Entry Preparation
• Account Reconciliations, Analyze general ledger account
• Weekly & Periodic Financial Reporting
• Liaise with Operational & Finance Professionals
• Assist with Compliance responsibilities to meet Internal Control Requirements
• Adherence to Accounting Policies & Procedures in Accordance with Applicable Accounting Standards
• Kantech Maintenance
