Leverage your Treasury experience to develop a rewarding Operational Risk Management career supporting Group Treasury. This represents an outstanding opportunity to diversify your experience and expertise, as well as to receive mentorship and support as your knowledge and skills develop.

Our Business Operational Risk Management team of professionals play a key role by continually improving our processes, controls and operational risk awareness across our businesses as well as in offshore regions as we are a global team.

By utilising your Treasury experience, you'll review and report on risks and controls, the delivery of regulatory requirements, monitor situations and work with others to escalate issues as identified. It will be important that you have an interest in analysing material and problem solving, maintaining reports, building relationships with our business stakeholders as well as our wider Risk, Compliance and Legal teams.

Our focus is to assist our businesses to implement and adhere to the Bank-wide Risk Management Framework including application of Bank-wide Policies, implementation of Risk and Control Self Assessments and input and analysis of operational incidents. In addition, help in obtaining approval for and implementing new activities and businesses in a controlled manner, including but not limited to the review of governance structures, product management and processes.

To be successful, you will need tertiary qualifications and have a stable, yet progressive career to date with 3+ years' experience in a Treasury role. A background in Risk, Operational Risk, Business Operational Risk or Compliance experience is welcome but not essential.

We're looking for strengths in some broad areas and these include not only a curious and investigative nature but excellent communication skills, a willingness to take on responsibility, an adaptable and flexible work approach as well as a high level of attention to detail. You'll have the ability to work autonomously, yet as part of a team, is essential. It is also important that you have a desire to learn about the various areas within our Financial Management Group.
