Wonderful opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest growing independent production companies as Head of Finance.
This entrepreneurial, PE backed business produces multi award-winning factual, documentary and scripted programming for network TV in the US and the UK and for digital / OTT platforms around the world.
The Head of Finance is a key member of the senior management team. Reporting to the COO the role will lead the finance function, overseeing all aspects of the business. Initially the role will be quite hands on with a focus on growing and professionalising the team, so improving systems, processes and controls, enabling more timely, regular management information. This will include budgeting, forecasting / reforecasting, quarterly board packs, production profitability analysis, cashflow, tax and treasury, acting as a business partner to help inform resultant financial decisions.
In summary we are looking for applicants who are comfortable building a high performing team from the ground up who have the potential to make the natural step to FD of one of the UK's most exciting young production companies.

- Applications are invited from qualified accountants who must have experience of running a finance team in a media business, ideally TV production
- Your analytical skills should be well honed and you'll need to be adept at prioritising and delegating
- You will need strong people management skills and an ability to build a team to match the scale and ambitions of the organisation
- We are looking for exceptional communication skills, essential for presenting to and interacting with people throughout the business
