Quality Auditor, Newhouse (near Glasgow)

Our site in Newhouse has an immediate position for a Quality Auditor. You will be working closely with our Quality Supervisor and management at all levels. You will be involved in implementing and maintaining a GLP compliant Quality Management System and ensuring that all systems, processes and procedures are aligned with rules and internal regulations.

You will be based at our Newhouse (near Glasgow) site.

About the position:

• Assisting in the creation and maintenance of a GLP compliant Quality System
• Ensuring quality is an integral part of all processes and procedures
• Writing and updating quality manuals
• Reviewing operational policies and procedures
• Assisting in preparations for audits and client inspections
• Performing internal audits and supplier inspections
• Addressing any issues of non-compliance decisively and competently
• Approving material specifications, equipment specifications and test materials
• Audit and in-life inspection of studies and processes
• Managing all relevant documentation in a compliant manner

About you:

• A degree in life sciences or equivalent
• Strong quality management experience in a GLP environment and with knowledge of GLP regulations
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong orientation for continuous improvements and agile working environment
