As our People Assurance Manager, you would be at the frontline of this mission, allowing us to deliver on the big ambitions we have as we approach our centenary.
With your help we'll achieve a consistent way of managing change within people services enabling the delivery of the overall people services priorities and plan that supports the achievement of the people strategy
The difference you'll make
You will partner with the people leadership team to translate the requirements of the group corporate plan into a people strategy
This will involve you maintaining oversight of the risks for people services, continuously monitoring performance and regularly review and analyse and report on KPIs across people services highlighting trend, issues and risks to continually improve service in line with customer need and addressing underperformance. You will undertake budget management for the people management function ensuring effective financial planning and forecasting takes place to deliver the people services strategy.
Essentially, you'll be responsible for maintaining oversight of governance and control, business continuity, risk and audit actions for people services

We're looking for individuals who are experienced with people change management in large complex organisations. Who know how to prioritise work, manage multiple projects at a strategic level and have experience of managing, mitigation and controlling risk.
Being a team player is key as you'll be managing relationships with business managers and other stakeholders through collaborating, influencing, challenging and negotiating to support the group in achieving its objectives.
With an up-to-date knowledge of legislation, regulations and standards, you'll have excellent attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure, deliver to strict deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.
