KBM Group is an international “Group of Companies” offering range of services to Pakistan, UK and other European clients in various sectors such as Accountancy, Consultancy, Education and Training.

KBM Group of companies are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong UK accounting Tax knowledge (VAT, PAYE etc) and how to produce monthly management accounts and good experience of UK based accounting software

Principle Responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant:

• Tracking financial transactions for a number of different companies accounts

• Managing group of companies' day to day accounting tasks

• Sales ledger, purchase ledger, cash book/banking, fixed assets, payments, expenses VAT preparation, staff attendance and monthly payroll

• Ensuring postings are accurate and entries can be explained.

• Reconciliation of bank and debit and credit card transactions of several companies

• Assist to accountant in preparation of VAT returns and monthly payroll

• Develop working relationships with sales and marketing and other staff members

• Use excellent written and oral communication

• General administration tasks

• Develop an understanding of the Company's methods and standards of work required.

• Become familiar with the Company's administrative and office procedures.

• Become familiar with relevant software sage 50, brightpay, Zoho CRM and Zoho books, Wordplay used by the KBM group of companies,

• Take on additional projects / responsibilities as directed.

• Fulfill measures of effectiveness and meet competencies set for role.

• The Company reserves the right to require you to perform other duties outside your normal work duties as the Company may reasonably require.

Person Specification for the Accounts Assistant:

• B.com, M.Com ,or Part qualified. Candidates with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply
