Manager, Finance (Sabah)

Responsibilities:

Responsible for overall general costing, budget & forecast, financial planning & analysis, cash flow forecast, review on actual performance vs budgets, monitoring and managing budgets on management accounts and SST preparation. These should be prepared in a timely manner, in-compliance to statutory requirements and relevant Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) for Head Office reporting.
Develop trends and projections via conducting various financial analysis such as income statement, tax, bank/general ledger reconciliation that indicate company's financial performance.
Review and ensure timely submission of various monthly financial reports (e.g. forecast & budget) and analysis.
Manage & lead the team to ensure operational efficiency of overall accounting & financial functions.
Liaise with different stakeholders especially in preparation of audit and tax schedules.
Ensure all finance-related matters are in strict compliance to the regulatory laws, and company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or professional accountancy qualification (ACCA/MICPA/CIMA). Member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) would be an added advantage.
Minimum 5-8 years of experience working in finance or accounting function with at least 3 years in managerial capacity.
Good language proficiency in English and Malay, both oral and written.
Good interpersonal skill and able to communicate with different levels of employees.
Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
Strong business acumen and proven track record in resolving business challenges in dynamic scenarios.
