Job Title: Data Analyst/Quality Tester - CostAccounting

Pay rate: Starting at $77/H

Job Overview: EXCITINGOPPORTUNITY WITH OUR GOVERNMENT CLIENT IN NYC!

We are looking for qualified Data Analyst/Quality Tester, with aminimum of two years of proven experience in data analysis and visualization.Your role will consist to develop data artifacts (data dictionary) for the Datamanagement and Cost Accounting program. You will be primarily responsible forthe continuous improvement of our data driven strategic planning with the goalsof increased visibility, flexibility and efficiency. The Data Analyst will workclosely with Business Process Owners, Systems Architect, Functional Team,Application Developers and Support team to build and support the strategicapproaches and methods to a variety of analyses.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Expect to travel 10% within the 5 boroughs of NYC
  • Essential duties include preparing forecasts and analyzes datatrends, identify data anomalies and conduct deep dive data analysis.
  • Participate in high level business analysis and assist withbenchmarking KPIs.
  • Carefully analyze the data and draw conclusions, communicating theresults in a clear, concise and actionable manner.
  • Collate, Cleanse and Organize data from several sources.
  • Working in cross-functional project teams that include ETLdevelopment, Data Quality Assurance, and Data visualization.
  • Communicate directly with team members/support team to diagnose andresolve issues.
  • Work with other team members to continually improve our delivery andprocesses.
  • Actively participate on project team meetings to achieve team goals.
  • Compliance with business policies and industry standard bestpractices with regard to data security.
  • Use analytic tools such as Tableau and SAS for through data analysisand visualization.
  • Create and maintain documentation of data governance procedures,policies, and adaptation.
  • Off-hours and on-call production support may be required.
  • Adherence to internal and external production SLAs.

Musthave skills associated with the following:
  • Master's or Bachelor'sdegree with 2+ years of work experience in data analysis and visualization.
  • Experience in preparingand conducting extensive business analysis and studies, process assessments,data analysis and cost benefit analysis in an effort to support data driven strategies.
  • Knowledge working withhealthcare data and helping businesses make better data driven decisions.
  • Strong knowledgetroubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with variousdata platforms.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQLcoding.
  • Willingness toparticipate in team on-call rotation, and perform off hours work asneeded.
  • Strong technical andproject management/process leadership skills
  • Excellenttroubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcareindustry systems and applications is a plus.
  • Ability to work withina diverse, technically oriented, team setting is a must.
  • Demonstrated ability totake ownership of incidents, coordinate effective response, and drive improvementsthrough root cause analysis and lessons learned.
  • Theability to quickly absorb new changes in computer technologies is necessary.
