Position Summary

The Regional Senior Finance analysts leads the Asia Pacific Regional Collaboration Reporting (Imbruvica & CAR-T) financial planning, reporting and analytics, in close collaboration with the AMF (Alliance Management Finance) and BS COE team. The Senior Finance Analyst will also be responsible to support the regional Strategic Plan/LRFP, Finance SME support for Anaplan. The Senior Finance analyst will provide business partnering support to the Hematology TA lead. The Senior Finance Analyst will report up to the Senior Finance Manager.

Detailed responsibilities include:

Collaboration Reporting (Imbruvica/ CAR-T)
  • Lead regional financial planning and update process for Alliance/Collaboration/ External partnership brands. Overall owner of Reporting and FP&A for External partnership brands.
  • Reviewing country submissions, analyzing business performance, frame assumptions, challenges and opportunities and prepare management review decks.
  • Requires close collaboration with country teams, AMF, global and regional commercial teams. Acts as SME, providing guidance/training to countries, and business partners.
  • Ensure compliance with Collaboration reporting requirements.

LRFP(Long Range Financial Plan)
  • Support regional LRFP process, review and analyse country submissions, and prepare management review decks including supporting any new systems enhancement roll-out in Anaplan.
  • Anaplan SME for Finance technical support. Collaborating closely with Regional BI team to prepare for LRFP Anaplan set-up.
  • Requires close partnership with regional commercial teams and country finance teams.

Business Partnering
  • Provide support to Hematology TA with regular and ad-hoc forward-looking analytics, collaborating closely with regional commercial excellence/TA leads to provide insights in order to influence TA leads/ country to improve brand performance, resource allocation
  • Lead and assist in various regional strategic initiatives such as, external benchmark, business case analytics etc.
  • Provide finance support for any specific CAR-T/Imbruvica requirements e.g. Project Tempo

Other duties
  • Coordinate and support any global projects (from Pharm group finance or AMF) as necessary from regional finance perspective, including divestiture reporting and CAR requirements.
  • Support any ad-hoc financial analytics required
  • Support/lead any finance strategic initiatives (e.g. Talent incubator), and SigniFi initiatives (if needed)

  • Required Minimum Education: Bachelors or Equivalent
  • Other Education: MBA /CMA would be a plus
  • Preferred Area of Study: Finance/Accounting, CPA, CMA or other financial certification
  • Required Years of Related Experience: 6-8 Years
  • Strong analytical skills, good communication and business partnership skills, strong collaboration and learning agility
  • People Management Experience: No
  • Knowledge of general finance/accounting processes.
  • Independent thinking and strong planning/prioritization are critical to success.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft excel is required.
