Job objectives and responsibilities:
  • Ensuring local statutory and tax accounting in compliance with group guidance and IFRS, tax legislation, also including: IFRS and tax accounting methodology definition, processes improvement, coordination and communication with other departments.
  • Coordinates monthly/quarterly/annual closing in order to assure meeting corporate deadlines. Calculates adjustment for corporate reporting purpose and deferred taxes for both local statutory and corporate accounting.
  • Ensuring efficient tax and transfer pricing management within the company: performing tax self-review, tax risks analysis, tracking changes and possible upcoming changes in tax legislation in order to keep risks under control, coordinating with Group Tax/Transfer Pricing department, tax review of company transactions and agreements, managing company tax payments and position etc.
  • Responsible for statutory and corporate tax reporting, including maintenance of necessary tax and transfer pricing documentation. Preparing on-purpose internal (management) reporting.
  • Organizes and coordinates a work with the statutory auditors; managing and passing tax audits.
  • Maintaining accounting systems and applications ("Key User" of SAP FI, 1C, M.E.D.O.C., etc.), including management of necessary changes through cooperation with relevant IT experts
  • Managing internal communications inside the company on tax issues. Dealing with company counterparties (state authorities, banks, customer and suppliers, outsourcing partners, auditors, advisors and lawyers) as an official company representative within own area of responsibility
  • Participation in various company and group projects and various tasks and assignments within own area of expertise

  • Higher education (University Degree, pref. in Finance/Accounting/Audit);
  • Over 3 years' experience in Deputy Chief Accountant or Tax Manager roles in a similar complex organizational environment (national/international company, trading activities with import and export) or in Tax advisory audit companies;
  • Good understanding of IFRS and best accounting practices;
  • Excellent and up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and best practice
  • Experienced PC user (advanced in Excel);
  • Experience of accounting and reporting in SAP (FI, knowledge of SD, MM and FA) is a plus and M.E.D.O.C.;
  • Experience in successful passing tax audits;
  • Languages: Russian/Ukrainian and English (spoken and written intermediate or above);
  • Strong transversal leadership and managerial skills;
  • Leadership and communication skills, intercultural competence;

  • Well-organized, goal oriented, able to multitask and work within tight deadlines.
