Would you like to lead a transformational change in business and finance management information systems within AIR as part of the Chief Operating Office? We currently have a vacancy for a Head of Finance at our site in Warton.The fast evolution of digital technology is changing the role and focus of Finance within business. There is an ever-increasing demand for business and financial insights and digital enabled processes and data will change the finance delivery model. BAE Systems Air sector are in the initial stages of this transformational journey and this role offers the individual to play a key role in leading this change on behalf of the Finance function within one of the largest sectors within BAE Systems.As part of this, we are also in the early stages of transforming the Air UK Finance Operating structure, moving to a model that enables strong commercially based finance support to the business through maximising use of shared services and establishing Capability Centres to focus upon end-to-end process excellence.The role is a high visibility role, which has a very broad range of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. If you are ambitious and keen to learn and develop, and want a role that will provide a great variety of experience and challenge, this is the role for you.Your main responsibilities will involve: Leading the establishment of the Finance Systems Capability Centre, establishing the operating model to ensure the centre provides both end-to-end process and service excellence.Finance Lead within the multi-functional team developing and delivering the Air digital management information strategy, responsible for leading a transformational change programme across Air management information systems.Leading the development and rollout of dashboards across Air, delivering key financial KPIs to stakeholders in a digital format replacing traditional forms of business performance reporting.Leading and managing the delivery of financial information to the businesses within the UK region of Air across both current ERPs and MIS suite of products, in support of monthly management reporting, statutory reporting and business planning (IBP) cyclesDesigning and developing Finance management information systems, aligned to functional and business development plans. In particular, lead the continued enhancement and development of our LN ERP system and associated interfaces and work to enhance the current TM1 / COGNOS business reporting toolset, and expand its capability across Air.Finance Data lead with the responsibility to establish a Finance data management strategy to maximise efficiencies form our newly installed ERP system and leverage the benefit from the Digital management information strategy. Air Finance lead supporting the newly formed BAE Systems Finance Systems Forum, whose aim is to enhance and develop BAE Systems Finance Management Information CapabilityProviding leadership, direction and purpose for employees through effective engagement and communications to develop a high performing functional workforceYour skills and qualifications:Experience of digital management information transformation programmes in industry, preferably in engineering/manufacturing companies.Current knowledge and experience in modern management information systems. Knowledge of TM1/Cognos/INFOR LN/SAP, POWER BI & TABLEAU would be beneficial.Experience of leading and managing financial systems in support of management and statutory reporting.Experience of leading and managing shared service centres or centres of excellence in support of business partners.Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or relevant equivalentWhat we're looking for in you:You must have the ability to understand and identify key stakeholders' requirements and needs, adapting your style and technique to get the most from reviews, engagement sessions and challenge sessions.
