Tax Adviser

If so, and if you have already worked in a practice and are ATT, or ACCA/ACA qualified (and would like to study for your CTA), then we would love to hear from you! 

We’ve got a team member relocating and as such, we’re looking for someone new to join our Tax Advisory team. Reporting to our Tax Advisory Director, you’ll be working, to help our clients, on both corporate and personal tax advisory projects.

At Inspire we’re passionate about being different. Providing client delight is what motivates us all on a daily basis. We have some brilliant, ambitious and driven entrepreneurial clients, who need our advice on a range of matters. You could be involved with helping a client think through the tax implications of restructuring their business, implementing a tax efficient share scheme, thinking through the best option on how they remunerate and take profit out of the business. We also help our clients when they are thinking of selling their business or acquiring another and they need some tailored tax advice around the implication of the transaction. You’ll also work closely with our tax compliance team and might help advise on complex personal tax planning, or assist with research and development tax relief claims. And of course liaising with HMRC will take some of your time – working with them to find workable solutions which are ok with the Revenue and our clients.  

We don’t want transactional relationships with our clients. Some of our clients have been with us since Inspire was founded and our whole ethos is about building lasting relationships by getting to know our clients, understanding their aspirations and talking to them often so we can help them fulfil their business ambitions, whatever they may be.

We work out of one office in Poole, within walking distance of Poole Harbour and a short distance from the award-winning Sandbanks beach. To give you a further idea of what makes us all tick at Inspire, we want our employees to have a growth mind-set and we place a lot of importance of working together as one team. We don’t work in silos – we help each other as needed. You’ll have lots of access to the Directors and we really want you to develop as a rounded business adviser…strangely our clients may not always just want to discuss tax! Over time, be it through coaching, CPD or attendance at our Business Academy sessions, we’ll help you develop to have the rounded discussions required.
