Hyper-growth, late-stage VC-backed, B2C subscription platform

Up to £80,000 - 6-month FTC with potential to go permanent

Stott and May are working exclusively with a hyper-growth business, one of the most successful pre-IPO scale-ups in London, to appoint a Senior Finance Business Partner.

Having recently undertaken a company wide restructure, to facilitate a period of rapid growth, this is a newly created role supporting senior leadership with insightful financial analysis, driving action plans that will optimise the customer proposition.

The role:

You will take the lead on business partnering activities with the product development team as they build a world class way of personalising a product offering to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. Working closely with the business and the rest of the finance team, you will manage the forecast and drive key strategic projects forward.

What you will be doing:

  • Fully embed yourself in the business, to become the go-to person for commercial support
  • Challenge the business to make sure propositions move the needle on KPIs, and ensure the team assess the wider impacts of proposition changes on the whole business
  • Take the lead on commercial analysis, enabling the Management Team to make key strategic decisions, and deliver the rolling long-term roadmap
  • Raise the bar for the standard of commercial analysis, ensuring we continually learn and seek to improve our commercially driven mindset
  • Analyse results from tests to ensure Finance make the right commercial decisions

About you:

  • CIMA/ACCA Qualified
  • B2C/D2C Subscription business experience
  • Successful, proven experience in relevant, similar FP&A/ commercial finance roles
  • Strong variance analysis skills, with the ability to derive innovative new methods to calculate/ estimate the impact of new cost drivers and proposition changes
  • Excellent communicator, with the ability to succinctly summarise complex financial information in an easy-to-understand manner for stakeholders of any level / function. Able to build great relationships with people from across the business
  • Strong commercial and analytical mindset, which supports you in prioritising your work, as well as prioritising what's right for our customers
