Elevation Accountancy & Finance are working with a Top 10 Firm as they look to recruit an Audit and Accounts Assistant Manager to join their high performing audit team in Leeds.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading firm dedicated to employee engagement and development. They are looking to invest in technically strong ambitious audit professional who is looking to continue their professional development and gain further experience in corporate audit.

You will be an integral part of the audit team and will be responsible for planning, executing and finalising UK statutory audits in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA's) and UK GAAP financial reporting.

The successful applicant will be able to work to tight reporting deadlines and be comfortable managing and developing a team of junior audit staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Preparation of the audit plan
- Take an active part in the audit planning to identify audit risks and appropriate audit strategy
- Oversee all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion
- Supervise and develop more junior members of staff
- Preparation of corporate tax computations

The successful candidate will:

- Be ACA or ACCA Qualified
- Be a natural leader with strong communication skills
- Have a minimum of 4 years' experience working in audit
- Have strong systems experience
