Job role
Our client needs some help for around 12 months, remotely working in the beginning (due to the current situation) you will be assisting the Finance Manager at this long established manufacturing company, with Management Accounts. The most important thing for this role is experience over qualification.
Your new role
Joining a small team it is essential that you can deal with people on all levels, you must hit the ground running and be able to demonstrate a strong background in finance. Your Excel skills need to be first class (good enough to get through a test at interview). You will support a very busy Finance Manager so you will have a sound understanding of the nuts and bolts of Management Accounts!

The role of Accounts Assistant will include:-

  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Cash flow, forecasts
  • Posting journal entries
  • Bank reconciliations (US Dollars, Euros, GBP)
  • Debits & Credits
  • Prepayments & Accruals
  • Analysing business costs
  • Petty cash

This will be a busy position and you must be happy to really get involved. You will ideally be immediately available or have a short notice period.
