Your new firm
An independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Lancaster are looking to appoint an Audit & Accounts Supervisor to join their team. This firm have been established for over thirty years and provide compliance, audit and advisory services to a range of business in both the local area and also across the UK.
Your new role
As an Audit & Accounts Supervisor you will lead a range of audit and accounting assignments reporting directly into the partner. You will be responsible for planning audits, overseeing audit juniors and report writing to complete the audits along with preparing financial statements and corporate tax computations. You will deal with a wide ranging portfolio of clients however your audit clients will mainly comprise of academies.
What you'll need to succeed
The firm are looking to appoint an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant who has trained within general practice and is competent in leading and completing both audit and accounting assignments. If you are currently operating as a semi senior on audits but looking to take more of a lead role they will consider your application. The firm are looking for an experienced accountant who can work autonomously and can demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. As this Audit & Accounts Supervisor role is client facing, the ability to develop and maintain client relationships is key.
